ABOUT ME

Building ideas into working systems.

I'm an incoming Mechanical Engineering student at the University of California, Santa Barbara who enjoys designing, building, testing, and improving physical systems.

I chose mechanical engineering because I have always enjoyed building things and understanding how moving parts work together. I am especially interested in vehicles, robotics, CAD, and product design.

What excites me most is seeing an idea become something real—especially after working through multiple versions, solving unexpected problems, and refining the design until it works.

HOW I WORK

My Engineering Approach

I enjoy the complete engineering process, from the first idea through design, fabrication, testing, and iteration.

01

Design

I use CAD and physical reasoning to explore ideas, understand how parts interact, and turn concepts into practical designs.

02

Build

I enjoy fabricating real components, assembling mechanical systems, and learning how design choices affect the finished product.

03

Test

Testing reveals problems that are difficult to predict. I use those results to better understand each system and identify useful improvements.

04

Refine

I see iteration as an essential part of engineering. Each failure or unexpected result provides information that can make the next version better.

COLLABORATION

Engineering works better together.

I enjoy collaborating with others throughout the engineering process. Working as part of a team brings together different perspectives, skills, and ideas that can lead to stronger solutions.

I try to bring compassion, thoughtfulness, friendliness, determination, and a strong work ethic to every team I join.

Whether I am contributing to a shared design, helping troubleshoot a problem, or learning from someone else's approach, I value the communication and cooperation required to build something successfully.

LOOKING FORWARD

Continuing to design, build, and learn.

At UC Santa Barbara, I hope to strengthen my understanding of mechanical engineering while continuing to work on hands-on projects involving design, fabrication, and moving systems.

In the future, I hope to pursue a mechanical engineering career connected to vehicles and develop systems that combine thoughtful design with reliable real-world performance.
